A New Talent Stream for Forward-Thinking Organisations

What began as a BT-funded initiative has now become a new talent stream within the Striver ecosystem, one that any large organisation can tap into.

The finance industry is evolving quickly, and the demand for capable, job-ready professionals continues to rise. While graduates have traditionally been the primary source of new talent entering Striver, many large organisations already have another powerful and often overlooked group sitting inside their own walls operations staff with ambition, capability, and the desire to grow.

Yet these same operations roles often experience high churn and rapid turnover. Many employees leave not because of performance, but because they can’t see a clear career path forward. This constant cycle of re-hiring and retraining drains time, budget, and industry knowledge.

How It Works?

Careers Pathway Program

Identify Participants

Identify the operations team members who are ready to grow. Whether high performers, emerging talent, or staff seeking a clear progression path, you select those who will take part in the program.

Certification & Development

Participants select from a range of industry-aligned courses that build their technical and professional capability. Striver mentors guide them through the process, tracking progress and ensuring they stay on a clear development path.

Placement

After completing their formal education, participants are published to your organisation's Striver platform. You can choose to share them only with firms in your tenancy or open access to the wider Striver advice ecosystem.

It has been a fantastic opportunity to work with BT in order to make a positive impact on the growing skills shortage within financial advice across Australia. We have embraced this challenge by enhancing our technology platform to build a more structured approach to helping advice thrive.
